It opens with a juicy red apple accord layered with cardamom and Calabrian bergamot, sweet and vivid with a natural fruitiness that stops just short of feeling like candy. The heart moves into bourbon geranium, lavender and clary sage, an aromatic, herbaceous core that reins in the sweetness of the opening and adds a fresh, earthy complexity.
