Launched in 1792 by Wilhelm Mülhens, 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser 800 ml is the original eau de cologne, unchanged in formula for over two centuries and one of the oldest fragrances still in production today. The opening is a bright, sparkling burst of lemon, bergamot, and orange, crisp and invigorating from the very first splash. The heart unfolds into lavender and rosemary, adding a soothing, aromatic freshness. The base settles into neroli and petitgrain, a light, clean finish that refreshes rather than lingers heavily.
