Terenzi grew from a small candlemaking workshop founded by Evelino Terenzi into one of Italy's most distinguished niche fragrance houses, relaunched under its current name in 2012 by his children, Tiziana and Paolo. Tiziana leads the brand's creative and design direction, while Paolo — one of Italy's most respected noses, with work behind fragrances for houses like Acqua di Parma and Dior — composes every scent in-house.

Known for bold, richly layered compositions crafted mostly in extrait de parfum strength, Tiziana Terenzi's fragrances and candles are inspired by travel, memory, and the emotion of fire, each poured and finished by hand with signature 24-carat gold detailing and wooden wicks that echo with a soft, fireplace-like crackle.
