Part of Acqua di Parma's Blu Mediterraneo home collection, this candle captures the character of Panarea, the smallest and oldest of Italy's Aeolian Islands, a place the brand describes as "suspended in time." It opens with the aromatic warmth of myrtle and basil, brightened by Italian lemon and bergamot, before an ocean breeze accord meets jasmine absolute and Damascus rose absolute at the heart. The base settles into lentisco absolute and juniper, combined with Virginia cedarwood and amber, for a scent that moves from fresh and herbaceous to warm and resinous over the course of its burn.
Set in a blue glass jar inspired by the colour of the Mediterranean Sea, the candle is designed to evoke a sense of well-being and unhurried, sun-soaked island life. It offers a burn time of approximately 50 hours, making it well suited to living rooms, hallways and entryways where its aromatic citrus character can be appreciated over an extended period.
